01Scan your house

Real size

Your real house

Your rooms and furniture go into the game at their real size and shape. The couch is exactly as long and as tall as yours, and you can hide behind it, jump on it or shoot over it.

  1. Grab a tape measure. Measure each room wall to wall and type it in. Drag rooms so they touch where they connect.
  2. Add your furniture. Pick what it is, type its real width, depth and height, and drag it to where it sits. Tap Turn to face it the right way.
  3. Snap a photo of each piece and each room's wall so it looks like yours. Then use the Doorway tool to click where the doors are.

  1. Scan the room with a 3D scanning app. Scaniverse, Polycam and 3D Scanner App all work. iPhone and iPad Pro models with LiDAR give the most exact results.
  2. Export it as GLB. OBJ, PLY, or a ZIP with an OBJ and its textures also work. If the app offers "Draco" compression, turn it off.
  3. Upload it here. The game measures the floor, walls, ceiling and furniture straight from the scan.

  1. Record a walkthrough. Walk slowly through every room in one pass, 30 to 90 seconds. Pan across each room and pause a second in each doorway.
  2. Optional: add a floor plan. A picture of a real-estate floor plan, or a quick sketch on paper, makes the map far more accurate.
  3. Build my map. Claude studies the snapshots and lays out your rooms, doorways and furniture. Fix anything in step 02.
